Essentially every past guest to the accommodation was thrilled with the service they received. All staff members were regularly commended for their kind, helpful and friendly approach.

In terms of getting around Toronto, a highlight of the guest house for virtually all previous visitors was its location. Centrally positioned and a stone's throw away from the Spadina Subway Station, the property is also within comfortable walking distance of an array of shops, dining options, bars and popular attractions.

The large majority of former visitors were really pleased when it came to the overall hygiene standards of the guest house. From the shared bathrooms to the rooms, all areas of the property were usually considered very clean and well-maintained.

Bothersome noise was arguably the most consistent negative aimed at the guest house. According to former visitors, noise sources such as passing trains, others staying at the property, and from a nearby bar can all potentially cause disruptions.

Understandably, the fact that most rooms do not feature an en-suite bathroom was an inconvenience for numerous previous guests of the accommodation. Waiting times for the shared bathrooms have proven to be excessive on occasion.

The simplicity of the guest house's rooms has come under criticism at times from past visitors. Along with them missing a standard amenity such as a television, it has also been reported that most rooms do not contain an air conditioning unit.
