Bed & Breakfast Seacrest Guesthouse (Whitby, United Kingdom)

Guests have experienced a warm welcome at the Seacrest Guesthouse and feel that the customer service is excellent. The owners are very familiar with the area and are able to recommend places of interest to visit and good restaurants where guests can enjoy good food. Breakfast is of a high quality with the ‘belly buster’ breakfast in particular receiving a special mention from some guests.

The guesthouse is located just a five minute stroll from the seafront and there are some beautiful sea views, especially higher up in the property. The town centre is also within easy walking distance. Whitby Abbey is accessed via lots of steps, but is entirely worth it for the views and to visit the location made famous by Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

A mixture of sea air, extremely comfortable beds and lovely linen mean that previous guests have had restful nights’ sleep at the Guesthouse. Rooms are cleaned to a high standard and high standards of cleanliness are also maintained throughout the accommodation.

There are no lifts available therefore guests with mobility issues may find it difficult to get around the property as there are steps to all of the bedrooms.

There have been many positive reviews by previous guests of the overall accommodation, but a handful felt that the en suite bathroom and the shower in particular were quite small and it was difficult to move around in the room.

Some previous guests have mentioned having issues with the parking. Some were not aware that they needed permits and some found it difficult to find a space although they acknowledged that this was through no fault of the hotel.
