This charming mansion has an atmosphere that is reminiscent of a bygone era. It is a great place for couples to escape for a romantic getaway or to celebrate a special occasion like an anniversary. The mansion offers an excellent, private pool area with comfortable chaise lounges and sun umbrellas that really add to the glamour of this hotel.

Guests highly recommend two of the onsite bars, the Apothecary Bar that is open daily, and the Speakeasy which is only open on the weekends. Guests say both bars have a fun, old-fashioned feel to them, and the bartenders make excellent cocktails.

Guests report that the service at this hotel could not be better. Staff make you feel like a part of the family, yet they are professional and not overbearing. They work extremely hard to make sure your stay is comfortable and relaxing.

You may find several amenities missing, such as a small refrigerator, which can be problematic if you want to bring home leftovers from dinner. Rooms also lack sufficient lighting with very little to no natural light and dimly lit, artificial lighting. There is also a lack of storage space for luggage and no room for toiletries in the bathroom.

Many guests mention that the air conditioning unit can be quite loud as it cycles on and off, not to mention that it doesn't feel powerful either and sometimes has trouble cooling down rooms.

Be aware that when staying at this hotel, you're on your own for food. They do not offer breakfast or a restaurant to get a meal, nor do they offer vending machines. You'll want to pack snacks and research a place for a good meal.
