Frattiero B&B di Ferrara fraz. Gualdo is located in the territory of Voghiera, a small municipality that lives mainly on agriculture. Tourism is present thanks to the findings of Roman times (I and II century), the Delight of Belriguardo, the products of the land, such as garlic PDO Voghiera, the Museum of Historical Modelling among the most important in Europe. The old Frattiero farmhouse probably owes its name to the friars, the first inhabitants who built it in the XVII-XVIII century and cultivated the land around it. Our family wanted to renovate it at the end of the 90s and in 2007 it opened the rooms used for tourist accommodation. Already at the beginning of 1970 we hosted Australians, Germans and French people; the fascination of meeting new people and sharing spaces and experiences always involves us. It is a typical farmhouse in Emilia Romagna, where the "exposed bricks" were maintained and the interiors completely rebuilt to adapt them to the current lifestyle. All around there are cultivated fields that change shape and colour depending on the season, and also the animals that live in the surroundings are typical at any time of the year.
