Lovely Little Spot above a Bakery
This will probably be one of your favorite stops in the area. Situated in a quiet town near Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, this place has cozy accommodations you may not be expecting - as well as a tasty restaurant, bakery and bar! A substantial hot breakfast is included with your stay, so if you like blueberry pancakes, bacon or perhaps fresh Maine lobster omelets, you can't go wrong!

Surprisingly Nice Rooms
These are basically efficiency apartment-style units, very spacious with kitchenettes, Keurig coffee makers, large refrigerators and microwaves. High quality linens and towels, flat screen televisions and very comfortable beds. Be sure to sign in and record your thoughts in the guest journal before you leave!
positive:
Tasty Restaurant & Bakery
Resistance is futile! Homemade pies, melt-in-your-mouth pastries, cakes, cookies and breads await your visit at the on-site bakery, not to mention a selection of ice cream for a hot day - special orders are accommodated with twenty-four hours notice. The restaurant already delights with the breakfast, and follows suit with later meals - seafood, pasta, burgers, steak, sandwiches, salads and wraps are all freshly prepared and delicious.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No Elevator
The suites are located above the restaurant and bakery, requiring a climb up two flights of stairs. There's no elevator on-site, so those with mobility issues may need to ask management for the best options.
negative:
Parking Problems
It is a bit tricky to find the parking area in back from the road out front, but keep trying - it's back there! It's also gravel, so don't wear your stilettos.

Informal Environs
Things are done the old school way here, i.e. handwritten paper reservations and such, so get ready for some low technology, relaxing days.
