Castlewigg Lodge Bed and Breakfast is located two miles north of Whithorn, in the rural Machars peninsula, South West Scotland. The lodge was built around 1830 as Dower House to Castlewigg Manor House. It is surrounded by farmland and woodland. Castlewigg is centrally located for you to explore the Machars and Rhins peninsulas in Dumfries and Galloway, including Wigtown, Scotland's National Booktown, and historic Whithorn, as well as the Galloway Hills,forest and Dark Sky Park. We bought Castlewigg Lodge in January 2014 and have been improving and renovating it ever since! We offer a very warm welcome and relaxed, friendly and comfortable en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation.
