The pub offer a wide selection of fish on their menu and there are an abundance of reviews about their crab sandwiches specifically which appear to attract people from all areas. The fish is described as very fresh and well worth a try.

The pub itself is sat on the harbour and depending on the room chosen, many can see this view from their rooms and say it is a joy to wake up to on a bright sunny morning. Those previous guests have said they will definitely return to this hotel if they are in the area again.

The owners make a huge effort to make everyone feel welcome in the pub. They offer live music and plenty of drinks to choose from. Many reviews comment on the atmosphere and say they felt most welcome throughout their whole stay.

Unfortunately their are recent reviews regarding the cleanliness of the rooms and also the decor. Some say they need a revamp as there is paint peeling off the walls.

The is a lack of parking at the actual pub itself however on the upside, there is a council car park two minutes away but guests have to pay for their stay.

Unfortunately as the rooms are above a pub you may get noise from people drinking below. There are comments regarding people smoking and drinking outside which causes noise as the windows are not double glazed.
