Universal Studios can be reached within a 35-minute drive and other attractions such as the South Bay Galleria, the Automobile Driving Museum, Polliwog Park and Lakes at El Segundo are less than 15-minutes' drive away.

Despite it's close proximity to the freeway, the hotel provides a quiet and restful environment. The guest rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable and both the rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Many guests commented favorably on the decor which has been described as stylish, stunning, regal and artsy with a vintage theme.

The front desk staff are available 24-hours a day and concierge and tourist information services are also available. The staff have been described as friendly, courteous and professional.

As the hotel also caters for parties and other special events, some guests have experienced loud and disturbing nights due to loud music and party revelers. Ear plugs are recommended just in case.

On the odd occasion the air conditioning system has malfunctioned. Guests who had the misfortune of experiencing this complained of sleepless nights in a hot and stuffy room.

Some guests were surprised and disappointed to find hidden charges in their bill which they were not aware of, including charges for daily parking which they had not been informed about.
