The Ateron is a contemporary hotel located in Amyntaio, north-western Makedonia. It is surrounded by mountains and vineyards, where one can enjoy nature and the beautiful view of four lakes(Vegoritida, Amyndaio, Zazari, and Heimatida). It is a 15 minute drive from the historic town Nymphaion, where you can visit the well-known shelter for bears, Arktouros. It is 40 minutes from ski slopes Pisoderi and Kaimaktsalan, 20 minutes from Florina, 50 minutes from Kastoria. 30 min from Kozani and 1 hour from Prespes Ateron has three spacious suites, each furnished with its own fireplace. Its 20 three-star rooms all have central heating and air-conditioning systems, a television, a mini bar and luxurious bathroom. The hotel's stone-built bar, Dizzy, has a wine cellar where you can find a wide variety of the finest wines, made by local wineries (Ktima Alpha, Kyr-Giannis, Eas Amyndaiou, Vegoritis, Karanikas). Ateron has a luxurious spa, a special massage room where one can enjoy face and body therapies, a heated underground pool with waterfalls, a sauna, jacuzzi, and a well-equipped gym.
