Arbutus Hotel (Killarney, Ireland)

This hotel has all of the warmth of an Irish home and hearth. The hosts go above and beyond to welcome each person who stays there. You are definitely not a number here. The Irish Pub next door is  something you must enjoy.

The hotel is close to the state park and is very picturesque. The rooms are spacious and gracious with a large bathroom. Parking is very convenient, though you won't need it to get to the interesting places about.

This is a very welcoming place to stay and many solo travellers have reported that they felt very safe walking around the area, even in the evenings. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel like family.

Some of the furniture pieces in the rooms are a bit older and show wear and tear from the years of use.

Some of the guests have reported that the rooms and the linens have a musty odour as if they've not been aired out in a while, and some guests have reported that their rooms were in need of a good dusting.

Depending on the room you are in, you will hear noise from the adjacent bar.
