On the Outskirts
The hotel is situated in a lovely beach area, right on the Danube River. The local neighbourhood is very family friendly, with plenty of parks and playgrounds nearby. Like much of Budapest, the area is ideal for cyclists. There are bike paths leading directly to the city. You’ll also find plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. When you’re ready to explore downtown, guests recommend taking the BKV boat shuttle, which departs straight from the hotel and arrives in the heart of the city.

Memorable Stay
Overall, guests were satisfied with their stay, and enjoyed the novelty of living on an actual boat. The rooms are described as quite nice and surprisingly spacious, and the beds are comfortable.
positive:
Breakfast Buffet
Most guests found the complimentary breakfast as a nice addition to their stay. Served buffet style, the spread focuses on mainly Hungarian fare, as well as fish dishes. However, guests say there is plenty of hot and cold variety available, and something to satisfy everyone’s breakfast preference, whether it’s continental or full.

Popular Party Place
The biggest complaint amongst guests are the constant events hosted on the boat and the music which doesn’t stop until late into the night. While the staff offers earplugs, guests say they barely help at all. Fortunately, events are hosted on select days only, so you may want to call ahead of time to see if anything is happening on the nights you’re planning to stay.
negative:
Downtown Distant
The hotel is a bit farther from the Budapest city centre than guests expected. It can take around 45 minutes to get downtown via public transportation.
negative:
Wi-Fi Woes
According to recent reviews, the Wi-Fi is often slow and unstable, in the rooms and throughout the hotel.
