Positive Reviews
positive:
Extra room wherever you go
So you have very spacious rooms, big bathrooms, and giant balconies. Wherever you want to go, there is plenty of space and the view that comes with your balcony is priceless. Most guests recommend getting a room at least on the second floor, if not upper.
positive:
Two pools, one of which is on rooftop
While the hotel is a tad far from the beach, guests can choose between a pool on the main floor and one on the roof. As you can imagine, the latter will give you an amazing view. And if it's just the tan you are after, it will spare you from walking to the nearby beach.
positive:
Quiet place, almost everything in walking distance
Some call it a bit off the beaten path, but in a good sense. At only two blocks away from the highway connecting Cancun from Chetumal, the place is incredibly quiet. Plus, you have plenty of stores, good restaurants, and even pharmacies at a walking distance.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Getting on the beach requires a long walk
Even though the hotel offers you two pools to choose from, at some point, you might feel the need for a more authentic beach experience. And when that happens, you will either have to drive or take a long walk to the beach. Not very convenient if it's too hot outside, you are carrying many things with you or you have children with you.
negative:
Serving breakfast will put your patience to test
Food is good, but the staff seems to be a bit slow. If you don't want to fall asleep again before your breakfast is served, you might as well have some strong coffee or just try any other restaurant nearby.
negative:
You have no fridge in the rooms
It's Mexico, it's hot, you're thirsty and you have no fridge in the room to keep some drinks on ice. Lucky thing that drinks are served from the rooftop pool, but still, a room without a fridge?!
