The chef at the in-house restaurant is highly skilled and his talents shine when it comes to the food. Prepared from the finest locally-sourced produce and meats, everything is fresh and beautifully presented, making each meal a wonderful experience for both your eye and your palate.

Some of the guest rooms at Anchorage Hotel are smaller than others. If you need extra room to manoeuvre or are travelling with lots of luggage or more than one person, you may want to take the opportunity to upgrade to a larger room in order to be truly comfortable.

Although the Wi-Fi in the guest rooms is complimentary, you may find that the speed and consistency of the Internet connection is often slow and spotty. This could be problermatic for those with multiple devices or if you want to get an email out in a hurry. Luckily, the Wi-Fi connection in the public spaces is spot on.

Although many of the guest rooms here have been recently updated, many have not and the facilities are looking a bit drab and old. If you find yourself in a room that has not yet been attended to, be sure to request a room that has been refurbished.
