Amfitriti Hotel & Studios (Lakka, Greece)

By all accounts, the amenities at this hotel are very basic. Rooms, however, are kept nice and tidy and for many guests, the stunning views of the Dahbian Bay here more than made up for the no-frills accommodation. Many found the atmosphere here to be laid-back and idyllic, a great starting point for an all-around good guest experience.

This family-run property is renowned for its friendly staff. Guests report receiving local hints and tips on what to see and do in the area; some even report being offered lifts to and from the ferry port at Gaios. This hotel is right above a small beach and guests were also very happy to note that there are plenty of free sun loungers here.

With small kitchenettes, rooms here are well-equipped for self-caterers. Additionally, those looking to stock up on basic groceries commented that, with the village of Lakka just a short walk away, procuring supplies was very easy.

While the accommodation is sound, some guests couldn't help but comment that the overall look and feel of the rooms here - the bathrooms in particular - was very dated.

Additionally, quite a number of guests had real problems accessing the in-room Wi-Fi here. Some reported that they only received a consistent signal in the reception area of this hotel.

Despite the stunning vista and solid accommodation, access was an issue at this hotel, especially for older guests, who noted that both the climbs up to the rooms and down to the beach were particularly steep.
