Positive Reviews
positive:
Rooms are decently sized and quiet
The rooms receive high praise for their spaciousness. They're very accommodating, especially if you have a lot of luggage and purchases, and don't want to feel cramped. Couples, families, and groups will also feel comfortable, with a decent amount of personal space for everyone. There's little noise that filters through, so not much disruption to sleep or relaxation.
positive:
Nice onsite amenities to relax in
Guests appreciate the extra facilities to unwind at, and take advantage of. The amenities are clean and well kept, and there's nice provisions and space for children to enjoy.
positive:
Good location for business and shopping
Lanson Place Ambassador Row is a popular place for business travellers, who love the proximity to clients and related ventures. The hotel is also very close to a lot of the area's local shopping and markets, so guests can easily enjoy absorbing the cultural atmosphere.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Breakfast is overpriced and disappointing
The buffet disappoints on every level. Pricing is high for what amounts to limited selections and availability, and poor quality. If you don't want to cook, it's cheaper to go elsewhere for a morning bite to eat.
negative:
Housecleaning and room amenities are a let-down
Suites are not as refreshed as they should be, and the housekeeping during your stay is not always prompt or detailed. Kitchen amenities such as small appliances or cookware and tableware sometimes have to be requested, rather than already set up. Toiletries are also either there or not.
negative:
Very poor Wi-Fi signal
It's not a good thing for Internet to be spotty and unreliable, particularly for a place that often hosts professionals. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's not, so be prepared to look for an outside hotspot if need be.
