Given its location just a few miles from Colombo's airport, this hotel was especially popular with those arriving into or departing Sri Lanka. Additionally, it offers very easy access to the heart of Colombo as well as to nearby beaches.

In-room Wi-Fi here was a particular problem, with the vast number of guests reporting that they were entirely unable to access the network. This was a real point of frustration for many.

Insects – especially flies and mosquitoes – were a serious concern. Guests were dismayed to find them both in their rooms and, more worryingly, swarming around this property's breakfast buffet.

Finally, hot water - or lack thereof - was also a consistent problem at this resort. A number of recent guests report having to suffer through cold showers, something which made their stays at this upscale resort less than luxurious.
