Whether they were in town to sample the area’s leisure activities or experience the nightlife, visitors were pleased with this motel’s location just off State Route 35 in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. It was conveniently just two blocks from Atlantic Ocean beaches and the boardwalk packed with oceanfront attractions, funfairs, bars, restaurants and nightlife options. Moreover, guests reported that it was easy to get to golf courses, boat hire business and fishing hotspots. Drivers were delighted with the ample free parking.

Although the rooms were reportedly straightforward, guests appreciated the way they were well-equipped with mini-fridges and flat-screen cable TVs as standard. Many guests felt the accommodation was more than sufficiently comfy and clean for a budget getaway. There was also praise for the pleasant outdoor swimming pool.

Lots of reviewers said they dealt with friendly, attentive and helpful members of staff, although a few critics felt complaint-handling could have been better at times. Those travelling with their four-legged friends loved the pet-friendly policy.

Light sleepers in several parts of the building sometimes blamed thin walls for making it possible to hear nuisance noise from adjacent rooms plus the sound of slamming doors.

Several critics found certain rooms fairly small, especially when fully occupied. Others said they struggled to regulate the room temperature. Maintenance and cleanliness issues also bothered guests in some rooms. These included blocked drains, interruptions to the hot water supply, poor TV reception, sporadic housekeeping visits and inadequately cleaned bedroom floors and bathrooms.

Those paying a premium to stay during peak periods sometimes felt they paid over the odds for what was essentially basic accommodation.
