The hotel staff are wonderful, and by using the world “wonderful” it's not meant as a futile expression. The staff really work to make your stay comfortable, and they don't miss a beat! They do little extras as well like packing a snack for your return drive to your destination, upgrading your room, or allowing late check-out without any fuss.
A full English breakfast is provided. The food is well presented and tasty as well. The dining area layout is very well coordinated and the menu caters to a variety of tastes. The price is not the cheapest, but it's well worth it!
The rooms are well proportioned. Housekeeping does a good job with cleanliness and the view of the park opposite the hotel is lovely. All amenities in the room are satisfactory and the shower has a great flow. The Wi-Fi also works well. Everything is complemented by the great location.
Perhaps because the hotel is a converted house, the walls are quite thin and there can be plenty of noise from other guests. The shower is small and you almost have to be a size “0” to fit inside!
Adding a concierge service would make this hotel a consistent five-star winner.
