Positive Reviews
positive:
Central Copenhagen spot close to plenty of dining.
Viktoria is said to inhabit a central spot, with a range of international restaurants and supermarkets found minutes away, and both Tivoli Gardens and Copenhagen Central Station both within easy walking distance. On top of this, buses to slightly further destinations like the Strøget shopping street and Nyhavn Harbour are also said to be close by.
positive:
Cheap and spacious rooms.
Many of those who stayed mentioned that this hotel offered a cheap price for Copenhagen for those travelling on a budget, and said they got basic, spacious, more or less clean rooms.
positive:
Generally helpful staff.
The staff here was generally found to be helpful and happy to assist with things like luggage storage, although a small number of those who stayed here said they found the service less than friendly.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Tiny bathrooms and deep cleaning.
Many guests were not impressed with what they said were tiny bathrooms, which do not appear to have much space between the shower and toilet. Furthermore, the intrinsic cleanliness of the rooms was not thought to be fantastic, with dirty carpets being mentioned as the main culprit, despite the fact they were generally considered tidy.
negative:
No elevator, Wi-Fi poor, no breakfast.
Viktoria's guests sometimes expressed disappointment in finding narrow stairs, with no elevator as an alternative, the Wi-Fi signal was sometimes said to be poor, and others were unhappy that there was no breakfast on offer.
negative:
Be prepared for hallway or bar noise.
People mentioned there was a lot of noise from the hallway due to apparently poor insulation and slamming doors — and perhaps since half of the hotel appears to be a different facility. There can also reportedly be some noise in the weekend from bars if you have a room facing the street.
