This hotel has an enviable location, overlooking the river Arno. It is within easy walking distance of the train station in a quiet residential area. The main square and the stop for the city sightseeing bus are both within walking distance.

If you are looking for a budget hotel and simply a place to crash for the night then this is well worth a visit. Guests feel that the value for money here is unbeatable.

The rooms are a decent size with comfortable beds and good quality linens. The rooms are kept clean and to a high standard. The hotel does feel quite calm and peaceful and you are likely to enjoy a good night’s rest here.

Although Wi-Fi is offered at this hotel guests have frequently reported being unable to take advantage of it as the signal doesn’t seem able to reach most parts of the property. The elevator here is tiny and some guests have felt scared to use it.

First impressions count and here they have not always been positive ones. This includes not being able to find anyone to check-in or being met with a very negative attitude on arrival. Breakfast could be improved with just a few small tweaks, for example fresher bread and slightly better quality produce used. Service here seems to be reactive rather than proactive and therefore it falls short of many guests’ expectations.
